Mary Egan passed away on October 17th. She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Egan who died on November 22nd, 2021. Mary was born in Auburn MA on January 5th, 1932, to Thomas A Williams and Dorothy Degnan. Philip was born on March 4th, 1931, in Worcester, MA to John Egan and Helen Morin Egan. They are survived by their daughter Mary Alice Thomas and her husband Clyde, their grandchildren and wives, Zack Finley and Valarie, Greg Finley and Dielka and great granddaughter Harper. Also survived by another daughter Anna Marie Medici and her family.
They spent several years at their home in Harpswell ME after moving from Situate, MA and often spent winters in either in Ft Lauderdale or Key Largo Florida. Mary spent her last year near her daughter on Longboat Key, FL where many good times were had.
Phil spent his career working as an executive for AT&T living in Maine, New York, and Massachusetts. Early in his career he was in the Army at the Language School which was part of the Army Security Agency where he learned many languages.
Mary was mostly a homemaker but did spend a few years as a travel agent assisting many in the Boston area with worldwide travel. She and Phil also traveled quite a bit as part of her job and visited many interesting places both domestic and international. They relocated to Harpswell to be near their family. While there they enjoyed gardening, boating and entertaining guests and family at their seaside home.
They also were animal lovers with many canine children and a few felines. Above all they loved and cherished their daughter and grand (great) children. They are and will continue to be loved and missed by all.
