Mary Ann DeVille

She was born the eldest of three daughters to John Webster Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones in Peru, Indiana on March 12, 1929.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She wed James Arthur DeVille on June 25, 1949 and remained faithfully married for 62 years until his passing in 2010. She was a devoted wife, mother of seven, grandmother of sixteen, and great grandmother of eight.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, reading, ceramics, crafts and her Shihtzu dogs. She was a longtime parishioner for over 20 years at Saint Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church on Siesta Key.

She was predeceased by her loving son John DeVille, and is survived by her remaining six children, Kathleen Tumey, Christine Hollifield, James DeVille, Noreen DeVille, Charlene Meyer, and Eileen DeVille, as well as her sister-in-law Mary DeVille of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home -Wiegand Chapel located at 7454 S Tamiami Trail Sarasota, Florida 34231. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM with subsequent memorial service beginning at 11 AM.

A private burial ceremony to be held at Sarasota Memorial Park, alongside her husband for all eternity.
