Margaret Diane Vaughan, born in Columbia, Tennesse on New Year’s Eve 1948 and longtime resident of Knoxville, passed away Thursday June 4, 2015 in Sarasota, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. A graduate of the University of Tennessee and worker in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Sales, Diane was an eternal hostess whose greatest passion was family and greatest joy was celebrating life with family and friends. Her love was unconditional and she will be deeply missed. Diane was the daughter of the late William C. Beasley and Mary F. Beasley, who survives. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Leonard Vaughan; son W. Chad Vaughan (Erin); daughter Stephanie Dunn (Sean); granddaughter, Susan Vaughan; sister Kathy Palmer (Clinton), and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a celebration of her life by family and friends at Noon until 2:30 at the Lakeside Tavern in Concord Park.
