She was born on March 3, 1923 in Somerville, NJ to parents Edith and Oscar Kowalleck. She and her husband moved to Lake Placid in 1982 from Bound Brook, NJ. Mrs. Good was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, Somerville, NJ and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of American Legion Post 25, VFW Post 3880 and Lake Placid Moose. Her favorite past time was playing Bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert H. Good; daughter, Shirley Neal of Williamsburg, VA; two sons, Robert of Hillsborough, NJ and Thomas of Des Moines, IA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At the family’s request, there will be no public funeral service or viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has requested that any memorials in her name, be given to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
