Linda Anderson

Linda was born on April 8, 1939 in Haynes City, FL to the late Raymond and Katie Yarley.

After her marriage to Robert Anderson they moved to Sarasota (Fruitville).

Linda volunteered as a team mom for Sarasota Little League. She was on the Sarasota/Manatee County Women's Bowling League and was inducted into the Women's Bowling League Hall of Fame for volunteerism. Linda retired from Sarasota County as a Teacher's Aid.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Linda is survived by three sons and daughters in law, Raymond Anderson (Anne) of Mobile, AL, Kenneth Anderson (Carrie) of Parrish, FL and Charles Anderson (Marie) of Nokomis, FL; a brother, William Yarley of Lake Placid, FL; six grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Erika Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Chelsea Babcock, Toby Anderson, Macie Anderson and four great grandchildren, Kameron Anderson, Mckinsley Anderson, Ellie Anderson and Owen Babcock.

A memorial service for Linda will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota. A reception will follow from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Bowling Green City Cemetery, Bowling Green, FL.
