Lawrence Reich was an attorney for the State of New York and spent many years in private practice representing school districts across Long Island and New York State. Reich was President of the New York State School Attorney’s Association and was considered by many to be a leader in his field.
He held a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University in New York City.
Reich relocated to Sarasota, Florida in 2011. He was on the steering committee for the Lakewood Ranch Jewish Club for many years and he was instrumental in establishing the history club at Lakewood Ranch.
Reich was an avid reader, traveler and photographer, who loved his family (and cat, Winston) dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife Paula Reich, daughters Ronna Reich Schwartz, Heather Reich Stone, Sheara Reich and their spouses, his grandchildren Zachary Schwartz, Zoe Schwartz, Ben Stone and Asher Stone and his brother Edward Reich.
He is preceded by his parents Alan and Fran Reich of New York and Boca Raton.
