Can’t believe it’s been 5 years Rest easy my friend

So sorry to hear about Kevin’s untimely death. He & his Dad Jerry were always good to us at both shops, & quick to  care for our Hondas.It was always a pleasure to deal with him also. I'm going to miss my friendship with Kevin!! I'm going to miss watching him work on a hotrod or a friends motorcycle, He was like an older brother to me & he treated me like an older brother would.  Kevin had that special infectious personality about him, No matter where he went he always made friends, and he would do something or say something to make sure you remembered HIM!
Im going to miss My Monday morning Stories as he would return from a weekend from drag racing, He would tell me the story with such detail it made me feel like I was right there with him at the track. He was my mentor, my best friend So I thank GOD for giving me the blessing to have known him. He will be very missed in body but his memories will be held very close to my heart.

I met Kevin around 3 years ago when I was looking for a mechanic. I googled local mechanics in the area and he had great reviews. From that day forward he has worked on my Odyssey. I just saw him 2 weeks ago when I had my van in the shop having some work done.
Kevin was the most honest trustworthy mechanic I have ever met. You will truly  be missed. Prayers for your entire family Kevin.

I can't believe he's gone.  I worked with Kevin last racing season on the Greeks top fueler, and with everything we did he always tried to make it better.  Hard working in every way, learning and absorbing everything he could to give a great mechanical performance.  It goes without saying that when you work on any kinda race car, not much transfers over to top fuel.   But even when 10,000 horses were staring him in the face he never flinched.  A real good man with a good heart...which is a rare combination these days.  God Bless you in your new home Kevin.  It was a true pleasure and honor to work with you my friend. 

I really only met Kevin a couple of times but he was a good person and great to April and one of my sister's good friends. You will be truly missed. Fly high angel 

I am still at a loss for words. There are some people who come into your life who just always make you feel good. Kevin and April were both people in my life who provided that for me. I first met Kevin through our BNI group (business networking), and when he found out I had gone to art school before working in graphic design, he gave me my first referral - to design his logo as a caricature of him. I have the BEST memories of being in his office, sketching and going through photos of him, while he told me stories of his life. To this day, his logo is one of my favorite jobs I ever did.

I moved away and Kevin was one of the people who always reached out every so often, just to see how I was doing. I lived in the Smokies and then Atlanta, and when he'd go on motorcycle trips up north, he'd stop to see me if we could make it work. Whenever I was back in Largo, I would take my car in to him and we'd catch up.

When I moved back home in 2017 as a realtor, he again gave me my first BNI referral - Todd and Ashlie Gardner, whom I quickly came to adore and see why they were best friends. During that time I also met and got to know April. Kevin was also one of the first people to come on board with me to start a new BNI chapter. It was bittersweet when Kevin left the chapter, but the light that is April took his place. What a wonderful, sweet woman. Always smiling, full of life, asking how she can help, and even just doing things without being asked. I had just told her at our last meeting together that we needed a whole chapter of Aprils. I love that she gave her presentation wearing a tutu and unicorn hat - cuz that's just the perfect picture of who she was. 

Life won't be the same without these two in it. Much love and prayers to their families and closest friends during this time. xoxo

Kevin moved his shop next to me a couple years back and was very helpful on more than one occasion. He was a good neighbor and a good man.  My sincerest condolences to family and friends,

Kevin was an all around great guy. Very kind, very honest, and very passionate about his business. I knew Kevin & his girlfriend April through our networking group BNI. I also took my car to Kevins business for maintenance. He was always so appreciative for my business and I always felt I was in good hands. I know he will truly be missed by a lot of his networking partners who became customers as well as friends over the years. I only knew his girlfriend April for a few months yet in those few months, she showed me what a sweet person she was. One day I met with April and ended up with a flat tire. She kindly offered (basically, insisted) to drive me around for the day to my personal appointments, explaining she didn't have anything to do for several hours. She and I barely knew one another. It was unexpected and truly appreciated. She really saved my day and I thanked her profusely for it. Both April & Kevin were fantastic people and their presence will be missed. I am very sorry for the unfortunate loss of these two people, you will be missed by many. 

Brother.  I will never forget the amazing man you were.   You were my dude.   I will miss you greatly.   You touched many....

It hurts deeply to hear of your passing.  We have not been in touch for quite a while, but in our youth we spent much time together as great friends. I admired your success, and was glad to hear how much you had accomplished.  I have you and your mother and father in my prayers.   I love you cousin, and hope you are at peace. 

It is with deepest regret that I have to say goodbye for know. Have always considered you my friend,  from the cruise  ,to that night at the 9:30 club,to the snowboarding trips " most fun without a motor",those were your words. You were always willing to lend a hand,which I'm sure was a product of a positive upbringing.  I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who lived and enjoyed life as well as you. You will be greatly missed, it hurts so much,so until we meet again....        your friends jim-n-linda

Kevin was such a wonderful man and I always recommended him to others.   He was honest and just a down to earth guy that stood behind his work and always was himself.   He worked on my Pest Control Trucks, Personal Cars and was also a friend.  He invited me to BNI  and I really enjoyed it.  He was a dedicated man to his friends, work and family.  
My son, Christopher and I will miss him greatly and want you to know we are so sorry for your loss.

I met Kevin several years ago and always depended on him for my questions regarding auto repairs. He was always generous and happy to help. I will miss his friendship and kindness.  Rest in peace Kevin. I send my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. You will be missed.

Walked in Kevin's shop in a panic about 10 years ago. I sat in what he called his spacious waiting area, it was a couch..Had my husband's Lexus and nothing worked. Kevin reset the computer filled the water ect tossed me the keys and said come back. When my husband was sick with cancer, he checked up on us via fb. Kevin was kind, honest and hardworking. Our family will miss him. Prayers and condolences to family and friends.  :(

So sad Kevin was a special guy and always was a good friend to our son Chuck.

I spent many years hanging with Kevin. He taught me more than I think he will ever know. We had moved in different directions, but always kept in touch. He was a good man,  a direct reflection of a good upbringing . I love and miss you my friend!

Nadine and Jerry, my heart goes out to the both of  you on such a tragic loss of Kevin. We haven't been close for years but the memories I have of us growing up together we always be there. The time we spent riding the go carts down Florida Ave and then pushing them all the way back up, riding our bicycles and skateboards, building our first hot rods together, and later driving cars from all over to the used car lots for Jerry and Billy. You all have always been on my mind and Kevin and the both of you are forever in my heart. Much love, Red.
