Kenneth F. Mroz, 65 of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Smithtown, NY died Jan 11, 2017. He was born Feb 5, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Stella Mroz. Kenneth worked as a psychologist in his private practice, Alternatives, in Hicksville, NY. He moved to Sarasota in 2004 and opened Alternatives here in Sarasota and was most recently employed by Ringling College of Arts. Kenneth loved fishing, boating, golfing, traveling, hunting and kayaking. He is survived by Heather Mroz and Morgana (Robert) Robson; and his grandson, Pierce Robson. Kenneth is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Mroz. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1-2pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota.
