Julia Angeline (Thiess) Anson, 64, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 16, in Sarasota, FL. Julie was born in Cedar Glen Oswego, IL and moved to Siesta Key with her family in 1966 where she attended Riverview High. She was preceded in death by her parents Fran and Skip Thiess and twin brother Henry W. Thiess IV. She is survived by her loving sister, Cristine (John) Loeschen; niece Angela (Amos) Paver-Price; great-nephew Eli ; great-nieces, Nora, Angeline, and Grace, all of Sarasota, lifelong, dear family friend, Robert Felton of Bloomington, IL, several cousins, and former husband John Anson. She was a member of the Riverview Kiltie Marching Band and later attended MSU. She had no biological children, but helped to raise Angela as her own. Julie was a strong believer, and was greatly successful in her all of her endeavors.
