John Scott White

John is survived by his wife of 31 years Tricia (Schanen) White, his mother Claudia Norde, his sister Kim (Jonathan) Joyce, and his aunt and uncles Skip and Janie Norde and Robert White. His nieces and nephew Sydney Petrofske, Meghan Joyce, and Nathan Joyce held a special place in John's heart and we will all miss Uncle Johnny's antics. John is also survived by numerous friends and extended family who will carry on his stories and memories.

John was preceded in death by his father Phillip White, his grandparents Robert and Olive White, Leslie and Dottie Norde, and his uncle Doug Norde.

John was an alumni of the University of Wisconsin - Madison and enjoyed all Badger sports. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to the UW Foundation "Student Athlete Support Fund". https://secure.supportuw.org/give/

The family would like to thank the ICU nurses and doctors at Sarasota Memorial Hospital who cared for John. They also want to recognize the LifeLink care team who assisted with his wish of organ donation.

During these unusual times, a private family service will be held with a celebration of John's life to be scheduled at a later date.
