John George Riedel II

John was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 24, 1943.

John graduated Michigan Center High School, attended Jackson Jr. College and MSU.

His career started at Clark Equipment Company, and he continued his engineering work

at several Jackson manufacturing plants. He was a Sr. Project Engineer at TRW before his retirement.

John moved to Sarasota in 2010 and enjoyed more than 10 years with many friends at the

Lake Club Security gate, playing cards at the Jefferson Center, and always ‘on call’ to help

people with any project. Going on cruises, theater and dinners out were always on his agenda.

John is predeceased by his parents, John and Laura Riedel; Brother-in-law, Jim Thayer; special Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by his sister, Linda Thayer; ‘second Sister’, Eileen Williams; Aunt, Darlene Eisenbeiser; Cousins, Penny Murray, Tom Eisenbeiser, and Daughter Beth Donofrio and her family.
