She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was devoted to her church her entire life.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 2015.
She is survived by 2 sons, Paul (Lora) of North Carolina and Bruce (Sonja) of Sarasota; 1 sister, Marlene Sampson; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Bethel Mennonite Church, 2985 Bethel Lane, Sarasota, FL 34240.
The funeral service will follow at 11:30 am.
Burial will be in Bethel Mennonite Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Joan's memory may be made to the church.
