Geraldine "Gerry" Morris

Gerry Morris 89, of Sarasota, Fl., formerly of Parkersburg, WV, departed this earthly life peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2016, to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William and daughter Lynn of Sarasota, her parents Fred and Velma Sindledecker of Parkersburg WV. She completed business school and modestly called herself a bookkeeper but was known for training many accountants in her lifetime.

Gerry leaves to cherish precious memories her loving daughter, Janice Haas of Sarasota a host of grandchildren and other sorrowing family and friends. She was a life member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Parkersburg WV., She will be remembered as a fun loving, warm hearted, avid reader and witty woman. She loved the Lord and to study her bible and sing favorite hymns. She enjoyed travel, good music and to dance.

Gerry was a wonderful cook and was famous for Christmas breakfast and delicious rum cakes. She leaves behind a legacy of her love for us and the greatest example of how to live a life devoted to loving and caring for her family and friends. She was simply adored by all and will continue to be an inspiration for those who knew her.

Visitation will be from 5pm until the time of service at 7pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Palms Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, Fl. 34232
