Elizabeth (Betty) Templeton was born February 21, 1927 in Pasadena, CA. She lived much of her life in Lake Forest, IL with her husband, James S. Templeton and family, before moving to Sarasota, FL in 1966. Betty was an avid golfer, traveler, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She always lived her life to the fullest, staring down and beating many health battles over the years. She refused to ever be known as “an old lady” and had a full social calendar right up until her last days. Betty was a fierce female role model who stood by her beliefs and always supported those she cared about.
Betty is predeceased by her husband and a son, James S. Templeton Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Allan; granddaughter, Lisa Aronson; and 2 great-granddaughters, whom she adored.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Macular Degeneration Association. Private burial will take place at Palms Memorial Park.
