She is survived by her sons, Fred Jr. and wife Debbie, Ken and wife Beth; daughters, Tina Stager, Abbie Robinson and husband Joe; grandchildren, Carrie Eady and husband Stefan, Jason Stager, Angela Stager, Amy Robinson, Gabrielle Robinson, Amanda Robinson, Mary Stager, Kathryn Stager, William Stager; great-grandchildren, Jack Eady, Callie Eady; sister, Patricia Woerner Horn and husband Robert H. Horn of Manahawkin, N.J.; and many extended family members.
Betty was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. She also graduated from East Orange General Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Betty spent many years as a healthcare professional and she served her community with the Girl Scouts and F.O.P.L.A. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 in Palms-Robarts Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
