Elizabeth was a graduate of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. She went on to complete her psychiatry residency at the University of California, Irvine, while raising two children simultaneously. Her undying faith defined her life. She drew great strength through the Word of God and her love of scripture and hymns. Though Elizabeth struggled with health issues for many years, few people knew the extent of these struggles as she always conducted herself with the utmost grace and positivity. She was also known for hosting many social occasions at her home and took great pride in being able to entertain and cook for her family and close friends. Elizabeth loved trying different cuisines and then replicating them at home. She had an avid love of reading, traveling, and music. All those who had the privilege of meeting her and knowing her were better for having done so.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Bijoy, her children, Alexander and Rebecca, her brother, Rajesh, her granddaughter, Suhana, her daughter-in-law, Alana, and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
