Earl Lee Jenkins

He attended Hudson High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1957 and then continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve until July 1962. Earl was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Earl was an enthusiastic motorcycle rider for most of his life. He had many good times riding with friends on routine trips in the North Carolina mountains. He was also an avid car lover and could tell you the make, model and year of almost any vintage car.

He is survived by his sister Dorothy Satterthwaite, son Jeffery Earl Jenkins and his wife Lisa, daughter Lisa Jenkins Baumgardner, and Grandchildren Justin Jenkins and Logan Baumgardner.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Haywood, along with his sister Joyce Alexander.

A Committal service with Air Force honors will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday January 27, 2020 at 12:30 PM with the Rev. Elizabeth Turk officiating.
