She was predeceased by her first husband Ralph N. McRee.
Survivors include her husband Duane E. Harff; a daughter, Sandee K. Witt and husband Dr. Robert Witt of Tuscaloosa, AL; sons, Ralph N. McRee of Sarasota, FL, and James A. McRee and wife Janelle McRee of Sarasota, FL; stepdaughters, Melanie Peterson and husband Roger Peterson of St. Cloud, FL and Stephanie Carlson and husband Greg Carlson of Farmington, MN; nine grandchildren; Martin Dessoffy of New York, Kelley McColl and Scott McRee of Marietta, GA, Patrick McRee and Ben McRee of Sarasota, FL, Rachel Peterson and Matthew Peterson of St. Cloud, FL, Eli Carlson and Sam Carlson of Farmington, MN; three great grandsons and two great granddaughters.
She was active in the “Miss American Pageant” for over 20 years as president of the “Miss Atlanta Pageant”, a member of “First Presbyterian Church” and a member of “The Tournament Players Club.”
