David graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems and was a graduate of Sanford Naval Academy, Class of 1972.
David was a former member of YES- Young Entrepreneurs of Sarasota. he was an avid reader, a classic rock music buff, highly skilled in the kitchen, a technology wiz, was quick witted, had a huge sense of humor and boyish grin.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (nee Smith); daughters, Alexis R. and Becky Jaffer. David is preceded in death by his sister, Laurel G. Jaffer.
A graveside service for David will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, 901 Circus Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34232, with Rabbi Jennifer Singer officiating.
