Connie Mae French, age 87, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. She was born on May 10, 1933 in Greenfield, Ohio to Floyd and Gladys Hoisington. She married her husband T. Lee French on December 15, 1975.
She was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with each of them. She enjoyed many years of being an active member of the Gator Traders Chapter of the Beer Can Collectors of America. She worked in the restaurant industry and spent many years working for Morrison’s Cafeteria.
She is survived by her 3 children, Allen R. Yount and his wife Annie, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Sally A. Morris and her husband Robert, of Troy, Ohio and Teresa L. Smith of Sarasota, Florida. Her 12 Grandchildren, Shawn Morris and his wife Deb, Shane Morris and his wife Jennifer, Amy Morris Counotte and her husband Dave, Michael Smith and his wife Makayla, Allen Yount, Jr., Terri Yount, Faith Yount and Hope Yount. Her 13 Great-grandchildren, Kalesha Peacock and her husband Tyler, Kayla Morris Wright and her husband Sean, Cody Boggs, Emily Morris, Kamy Boggs, Parker Morris, Sammy Smith, Jayden Abels, Aiden Counotte, Carter Counotte and Ashlyn Counotte. Her 2 Great-great-grandchildren, Aliey Wright and Norah Wright.
She was predeceased by her husband T. Lee French, her brother Jimmy Hoisington and her sister Bonnie Thrasher.
At her request, no services will be held.
