Christopher James Hamilton, age 36 of Sarasota, Florida passed away November 9, 2016. A native Floridian, he was born in Orlando to Karen and Richard Hamilton on June 12, 1980. Christopher spent several years in Arcadia and grew up in Bradenton. He graduated from Bradenton Academy in 1999 and from Manatee Community College in 2002. Along the way, Christopher worked for a number of local companies, going all the way back to Torchtip in high school, Trident and Peace River Citrus. A server job at Cracker Barrel got him through his many years at USF, finally emerging with an accounting degree in 2010. Most recently, he was with Vertex Inc. as a tax analyst. He was fun loving, loyal and caring and will be truly missed. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Karen Hamilton; his brother, Dr. Matthew (Melissa) Hamilton; his nephew, Brendan Hamilton; niece, Aubrey Hamilton; his aunt and uncle, Jim and Janice Link; his cousins, Brandon Link, Jason (Tori) Link, Dr. William (Jane) Hamilton, Marcia Hamilton, Robbie (Chrissy) Hamilton, Dr. Richard and Lore Tignor, Steven Tignore, and Julie (Don) Ciepiel; his godparents, Jack and Jane Foster; his good buddies, Kris Cafiero, Keenan Grill, and Nick Colella; and his girlfriend, Aivee J Comacho. A memorial service for Christopher will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11am at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota. Visitation will be one hour prior, beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Sarasota.
