Charles James Brown

Charlie was born in Brooklyn New York on July 27,1932 to William and Lillian Brown. He married his loving wife Louise on March 23rd 1952 in Regensburg Germany. Charlie was a 21 year veteran of the United States Army which he proudly served as a Sr. Master Supply Sergeant. Charlie and Lou traveled the world during his military career including Japan, France, and Germany and several bases in the U.S. After retiring from the Army Charlie had a 25 year career working at Kennedy Space Center for Boeing and EG&G. Charlie and Lou retired together and enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home before settling in Palm Bay, Fl and then moving to Sarasota FL in 2018.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 71 years Louise, son Charles Jr.(Carol), daughter Pam Walker (David) and daughter Linda Brown (Mark) Grandsons Jimmy Boyle (Jaclyn), David Walker (Adrianna), and Darrell Baker (Kendall). Granddaughters Lisa White(Kurt) and Jodie Rose (Dean), Twelve great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, his sister Minnetta Ditore (Anthony) and many distant relatives.

Charlie will be buried at the Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 with full military honors on September 21st at 11:30am. If you would like to make a donation in Charlie's honor please consider Meals on Wheels of Sarasota 421 N. Lime Ave. Sarasota 34237.
