Carolyn E. Thatcher, age 64 of Sarasota, FL passed away December 12, 2016. She was born April 4, 1952 in Manchester, NH to Ernest Leon and Olive M (Angers) Paris. Carolyn graduated from Manchester West High School in 1970. She would be best described by those who loved her as a devoted wife, loving mother, a loyal friend, and a caring sister. Carolyn enjoyed sewing and crafts. She loved spending time in the garden, collecting dolls and she thoroughly enjoyed being a homemaker. Carolyn loved dogs and she had such a sweet disposition, never without a smile. She is survived by her husband, Carleton R. Thatcher; her daughter, Jenifer (Richard) Bates; grandchildren, Tori and Ty Bates; her step-children, Linda, Debra, David, Karen, and Michael; and her siblings, Richard (Judy) Paris, Barbara (Lonnie) Dear, Diane Richardson, Marian (Devin) Rutkowski, and Christine (Kassim) Salman. A memorial service for Carolyn will be on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 5pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, beginning at 4pm.
