Barbara Jean Faulkner

Barbara was born on July 14,1929 in Montclair, New Jersey to Lester K. Hendershot and Calla (Stout) Hendershot. She graduated from Chatham High School in New Jersey in 1947. In 1951 Barbara received a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where she was also a member of the Phi Mu sorority.

Barbara is survived by her son Bruce E. Faulkner of Westerville, Ohio and her daughter Karen F. Dinino of Eureka, Missouri. She enjoyed visits from her seven grandchildren (Bryan Faulkner, Geoffrey Faulkner, Adam Paluka, Alexander Paluka, Anthony Dinino, Krista Dinino and Kaitlyn (Dinino) Sekulski), as well as 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frederick C. Faulkner, her daughter, Gail F. Paluka, her brother, Lester K. Hendershot, Jr., and her parents Lester K. and Calla S. Hendershot.

As a former member of Palm Aire Country Club, she enjoyed social activities, golf and bridge.

A private family service will be held at Robert Toals & Sons at Palms Memorial Park.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11AM at Sarasota Memorial Park, 5833 S Tamiami Trl, Sarasota, FL 34231.
