Angelo “Evangelos” Stratigakis was born in Chalkidiki, Greece, later immigrating to the United States with wife Helen and son John. He had 2 more children, son Michael and daughter Cristalena whom he raised in Astoria, Queens. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren Evangelos, Deanna and Helen and a truly fulfilled life. Angelo will be remembered for his strong personality, hilarious sense of humor and his kind heart.
He is survived by his wife Helen, sons John & Michael, and daughter Cristalena.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at 1pm at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 7671 Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34243.
A committal service will follow on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 3pm at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232.
