Angela made her final and personal gesture on December 12, 2023, signing off life, not “Raging” against the dying of the light, but displaying singular grace as she passed. Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1944, Angela’s life was shaped by her faith, family, and by traveling the world.
Angela’s core was her demonstrated generosity, aggressively supporting her beliefs and family. Angela’s day was a family business in Erie, Pennsylvania where her family served as the “Go to” travel agency
for General Electric and corporate accounts. Angela followed the family tradition by attending Alabama University where she was warped by Alabama football. Moving to “Paradise”, Sarasota, with her husband
following her early retirement, she enjoyed golf, society, and ‘Good” work.
Angela was proceeded in death by the love of her life, Alvin J. Freeman, step-daughter Leslie, and her father William B. Miller. Angela is survived by her mother, Bettye Lamar Miller and her younger sister
Kathleen M. Beith and Richard of Franklin, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Heather and Joe, Nicole; and her sister’s children, Laura and Dominic, Mathew and Mishelle, and Jaime and Taylor: her greatgrandchildren, Giustino, Mario, and Lexi, Dylan and Quintin: plus her great nieces and nephews, Cassidy, Colleen, Ellis, Abigail, Ogden, Rowan, Harper and Celine: all receiving Angela’s and her husband’s
amazing gifts underwriting their educations. Her family has a life-time of stories about Angela and ask you share any of your Angela personal stories ([email protected]).
