Amy graduated Rockville High School and Montgomery College, both in Maryland. She worked as a city Police Dispatcher.
Amy had many varied interests including water aerobics, swimming, baking and online shopping. She loved good music, especially soul including the Motown hits. She also enjoyed eating seafood, especially Maryland Crab Cakes.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Russell Metcalf, and her brother, Stephen Metcalf.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David J. Lefkoff; her sister, Gail Metcalf; and her dear "son" kittycat Gus.
A visitation for Amy will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. The funeral will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home with burial at 1:30pm in Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, Sarasota.
