On Monday, the 5th of October, a Woman who was nothing short of an angel on this earth, was called to heaven. Alane Lynn Dey, (Caldwell), born April 23rd, 1956, passed suddenly at her home in Tennessee.
Alane will be lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Mike, her four children, Alysha, Debbie, Jeff, and Michael, her five grandson’s, Evan, Michael, Jacob, Kaden and Cameron, and by her brother, Charles Caldwell, and sister in laws, Yamile Caldwell and Judy Caldwell. She will be joining her brother, Richard Caldwell, in heaven, along with her parents, Luella and Al Caldwell.
Alane was a loving mother, sister,
grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend, and fiancé. She was an amazing human being, who touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with. No matter the circumstances, or times of hardship, family was always her number one priority, as she made sure that they always came first and foremost, no matter the cost.
She held a degree in interior design, and was also a successful business owner, and well skilled seamstress, as she owned and operated a canvas business with her former husband, Daniel Dey, for over 30 years.
Of all the talents that she acquired in her life time, and of her passions for many things, she absolutely adored cooking for friends and family the most.
Alane will be forever missed, she
will always be remembered, and will live on through the hearts and spirits of everyone who came to love her, and those who were fortunate enough to have had her in their lives.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11am until the time of service at 12pm at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170, Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232.
