

William Carroll “W.C.” “Tiny” Davis – a 76 year-old native of Frisco City, AL, who was raised in Silverhill, AL, and was a longtime resident of Saraland passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. Mr. Davis retired from International Paper Company as a Pulp Mill Operator after more than 40 years of service. He also retired from the Alabama National Guard as a Master Sergeant after more than 20 years of service. He was a loyal husband and father and proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of people, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lottie Davis, and brothers, Aubrey Davis and Charles Davis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Tiny Louise Robinson Davis; sons, Mike Davis (Leslie) and Keith Davis (Janet); grandchildren, Jason Davis, Jared Davis, Leah Taylor (Bert), Nathan Davis (Amy), and Brandon Davis (Jena); great-grandchildren, Cohen Taylor and Alex Davis; sisters, Dorothy Hughes (Milton) and Patricia Farr (Roger); other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fountain of Life Church, 1277 Jubilee Dr., Saraland, AL 36571.
