William "Bill" A. Brewer

Bill was a retired Floor Installer. Bill served in the United States Army, he was a spec 4th class, a competitive shooter and a member of the Golden Dragons. A side from his regular occupation, Bill was a “ Jack-of-all- trades” and was a “Master” of many. He was a gentle person, unpretentious and hard working. He had many friends and was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Bill was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Ray Brewer; his parents, E. L. and Iris Brewer, Sr.; his brothers, E.L. Brewer, Jr., Samuel L. Brewer. Darrell A. Brewer and C. Arnold Brewer; brother in law, Ranier Johnson.

Surviving his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Nancy B. Brewer; son, Danny Brewer; grandchildren, Meghan (Joe) Grove, Mallory and Jordan Brewer; great grandchildren, Sadie and Kyler; two sisters, Bertha Johnson and Janie (James) Weaver; brother, Douglas (June) Brewer and a brother in law, Johnny Boggs; sister in laws, Sheila Brewer and Merle Brewer: life long friend, Edgar Watts. Also, survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, Donation in Bill’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the Disabled American Veterans Program.

Active pallbearers will be, Travis Brewer, Michael Johnston, Buddy Neesmith, Shaun Laurio, Kyle Laurio and Leigh Weaver, honorary pallbearer is Joe Grove.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama. Graveside Service immediately following visitation in Gulf Crest Cemetery, Chunchula, Alabama.
