Violet Riley Tart - a native of Evergreen, AL and longtime residnet of Wilmer, AL died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at home. She was a member of Azalea City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "J.D." Tart; and son, Jimmy Tart. Survivors include four children, Jerrol (William) Sawrey, Larry (June) Tart, Haywood (Sherrie) Tart and Gary (Regina) Tart; daughter-in-law, Laura Tart; fifteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Funeral services will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. from Azalea City Church of Christ with Pastor Terry Cagle officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
