Houston Champion. Todd died peacefully at home Thursday 9/01/2022. He lived in Chickasaw
the earlier part of his life before moving to Stapleton with his parents. Todd would share stories
of the times he spent at his dad’s Shell Service Station as a young boy. After selling the service
station, they moved to Chunchula where Todd helped work the land alongside his dad.
Eventually, his dad and mom got into trucking.Todd went on the road with his dad several
times, where at the age of thirteen he was driving his dad’s 18 wheeler like a pro! He had a love
of airplanes (Top Gun was one of his favorite movies). At nineteen he enlisted in the Air Force,
where he spent the next four years. While in the Air Force, he learned to be an Information
Technology (IT) specialist. He attended Mary G Montgomery High School. He studied General

Automation Engineer; Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. He enjoyed working with his
hands and completed several projects. One of his interest was law enforcement where he
became a member of the law enforcement reserves; and a brief period as a policeman (Blue
Bloods was a favorite TV show of his). He always had a love of cars and was especially proud
of his Corvette. A love of music came natural to Todd as he grew up listening to his dad playing
the guitar and singing. Todd played the guitar, drums and sang. At various times throughout his
life he played drums in a band. He was a fun person to be around and could keep you in
