Tod was a 1985 graduate of B.C. Rain High school, and after graduation, he enlisted in the Army where he was in the 10th Mountain Infantry and served in Desert Storm. Tod loved music, even teaching himself to play guitar and the harmonica. His favorite song was "Come, Thou Font'. He also was an avid gardener and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Odell and Blanche Robinson, Moody and Edna Young.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son; Orion Young of Colorado, his devoted mother; Teresa Robinson Goolsby of Chickasaw, AL, father; James Young of Gulfport, MS, sister; Shannon Dawn Griffin of Chickasaw, AL, brother; Robert Andrew Stolz (Rachel) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, devoted friends; Emily Hardman of Tucson, AZ, and Allan Naylor of Sarasota, Florida, and a host of other family and friends that will miss Tod.
A visitation for Tod will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571. Following the visitation will be a graveside at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36671. Rev. Dr. Ronald McCants will be officiating the services.
