Timothy Chad Byrd

Timothy Chad Byrd – a 37 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Semmes passed away Monday, April, 30, 2018. He was employed as a mechanic at the Alabama State Docks and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Byrd was an avid deer hunter and Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.

Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Vesta Byrd and Gordon and Libba Byrd. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Candace Brewster Byrd; beloved daughter, Saylor Grace Byrd; parents, Robby and Wand Byrd; brothers, Rob Byrd (Larissa) and Logan Byrd; nephew, Hayden Byrd; niece, Skylar Byrd; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Mary Brewster; brother-in-law, Jacob Brewster; nephews, Cole and Ethan Brewster; niece, Kennedy Brewster; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from Fellowship Baptist Church on Gulf Crest Road on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Billy Ray Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Williams, Mitchell Williams, Shannon Boykin, Steven Walters, Lafe Keebler, and Nick Byrd.
