Terry Lynn Wheat, age 55, of Chunchula, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. Terry was born Saturday, July 29, 1967 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late James Larry and LaDora Ann Welborn Wheat.
Terry always enjoyed her Alabama football, spending time on the beach and spending time with her loved ones. She had the most outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Terry would help anyone in need of a place to stay and food to eat, when needed. She was always giving of herself. One of Terry's favorite things was gathering with her family the night before Christmas, wearing matching pajamas and reading to her grandbabies, "The Night Before Christmas." Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. Terry will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of playful scare tactics.
Terry was preceded in passing by her parents; two daughters: Chasity Wheat, Brandy Wheat, two brother's-in-law: Perry Mitchell, and Rick Hill.
Left to cherish Terry's beautiful memories are her daughter, Cassity M. Wheat (Timothy Williams), seven grandchildren: Sarah, Serenity, Jaylnn, Shelby, Hayleigh, Madison, Caleb; four siblings: Pam Wheat, Debra Kay Hill (Richard), Tim Beck (Lisa), Renee Austin, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
A visitation for Terry will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Valhalla Cemetery, 8730 Sims Road, Eight Mile, Alabama, 36613.
Honoring Terry as pallbearers will be Michael Wheat, Dustin Hill, James Wheat, William Wheat, Justin Beck, and Chris Beck.
