Stephen, also known by Steve, was born and raised in Eight Mile, Alabama and spent the majority of his life in the Mobile area. He graduated from Mary Montgomery High School and then continued in a long career as an electrician and retired from Servpro after 10 years. Steve had a love for all sports, and in his younger years he loved to play basketball, football, baseball, softball and even played on a cowboy polo team. Playing sports led to refereeing and umpiring all those sports. Stephen always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He loved life in general and brought love and laughter to all that knew him. He was an adored father, husband, grandfather, brother uncle and friend, who will be missed greatly. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Eloise Clark and a brother, Cameron Phillip Clark, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Clark; sister, and brother-in-law, Cindy Hill and Jay Hill; daughters, Porsha Clark Inman, Carmen Harris, Stefanie Semmes and a step-son, Billy Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Trevin, Kamry Kidwell, Carlee Butterworth and Jayda Harris, Corky and Jonny Riley, Tyler Strickland and Treavor Johnson; great grandchildren, Kaeson Kidwell, Cadin and Carter Butterworth and Baby Riley. Rodney Clark, Jason Graves and Cameron Clark, Jr., and other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Stephen will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home. Interment to following at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605.
