Sherrie Baker Chestang

Sherrie Baker Chestang, age 70, of Semmes, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on July 6, 1954, in Mobile, Alabama, Sherrie was the daughter of Anderson Howard Baker and Margie Inez Monaghan. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Her life was a testament to her love for family, faith, and passion for the things she loved.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and her sisters Judy Howard Baker, and Margie Elizabeth Williams. She is survived by her Husband Odell Chestang, their children Dwight Jordan, Rhoda (Terry) Gradick, Aaron (Stephanie) Jordan, Thomas (Crystal) Chestang, Odell (Brandy) Chestang, Angel (Joshua) Kostelyk, her sisters Barbara Neece, Wanda (Wayne) Young her many many grandkids, two great grandkids, as well as many other friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Monday April 14th, 2025 @ 5pm at Radney in Saraland, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10am on April 15th at Radney in Saraland. Graveside service will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Eight Mile immediately after the Celebration of Life.
