Ruby Parnell Webb

She was born in Whistler, AL and was a longtime resident of Saraland, AL and a member of Saraland Baptist Church. She passed away peacefully at Knollwood Nursing Care Facility in Mobile, AL. Ruby retired in 1994 from South Central Bell, enjoying a successful career. Her hobbies included crocheting, bingo, word puzzles and collecting cookbooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Brinkman Webb, her brothers, Curtis Parnell, Gaines Parnell, Jack Parnell, and Benjamin "Bennie" Parnell; sisters, Ruth Smith, Margaret Thompson, Elizabeth Parten and Sadie Hutto. She is survived by her brother, Allen Parnell, sister-in-law, Rosa C. Parnell. Ruby was a loving and devoted Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and she leaves to cherish her memory countless other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Visitation/Viewing will be held from 1:00-1:30pm at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland with a graveside service at 2pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Celeste Road in Saraland.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hutto, Bradley Johnson, Lindsey Parnell, Les Parnell, Jim Smith, and Russell Williams. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruby's memory to your favorite Charity or Church.
