Roselean Campbell “Maw Maw” Williams age 91, a native of Prichard, AL, and a long-time resident of Saraland, AL, died on Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Enterprise, AL. She retired from Scott Paper Company following 25 years of faithful service. Roselean was a committed servant in the fellowship of Community of Christ Church, Saraland, AL. During the last months of her life, she was surrounded with love, prayers and visits by members of First Baptist Church, Enterprise, AL, where she was a member. Roselean was a 1939 graduate of Murphy High School and one of the founding members of the ‘39er’s, an alumni group that enjoyed a monthly luncheon for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Emory Leon Williams, as well as her sister, Ruth Dale Perry, brother, Porter Campbell and great-grandchildren, Landon Heim and Leighton Williams. She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Joyce) Williams, of Enterprise, AL and Michael (Susan) Williams of Dallas, TX, and one daughter, Doylene Williams Moody, of Saraland, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Scott (Deborah) Williams of Nashville, TN, Amber (Kent) Williams Heim of Enterprise, AL, Michelle (Michael) Moody Jefcoat of Saraland, AL, Melanie Moody Toomey and Kaytee Jones of Spanish Fort, AL, Sarah (James) Williams Sargent of Atlanta, GA, Spencer (Amy) Weyrauch Williams of Denver, CO and ten great-grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Andrew Williams, Austin Williams, all of Old Hickory, TN, Logan Heim of Birmingham, AL, Brennen Heim and Grace Heim of Enterprise, AL, Morgan Cain of Saraland, AL, James W. Sargent and William Sargent of Atlanta, GA, and June Williams of Denver, CO. She is also survived by a special niece and nephew, Lorrie Perry of Fairhope, AL, and Dale Perry of Fairhope, AL, in addition to a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends and special friends, Richard and Sandra Sykes and Curtis and Sue Ezell.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
