Pedro "Pete" Renan Alcocer Jr.

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021 Pedro (Pete) Renan Alcocer, Jr., age 65, left this life for a permanent life in his heavenly home. Pete was a resident of Turnerville, Alabama. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Lisa C. Alcocer, his brothers- in- law, Jim Stagner of Utah and Rolando Garza of Texas.

He is survived by his wife Linda Carden Alcocer of 17 years, one son, John Wesley Carden (Cassie), two grandsons Dawson and Landon Carden. He is also survived by four sisters, Mary Stagner of Utah, Patti Garza, Lori Alcocer (Ed) Hickner, and Elizabeth Alcocer of Texas. Four brothers, Ricky Alcocer (Rosalinda Cortez), Jimmy Alcocer, Robert Alcocer and Daniel Alcocer of Texas. His special in- law family, Mom Verdie Findley, brother Lamar (Becky) Adkisson Jr. of Brewton AL. Crystal Rose (Justin) Pittman of Mississippi. Seventeen nieces and nephews, Kristin Freeman, Kerigan Freeman, Kaylee Martin, Abriana Martin, Liam and Harper Pittman, Lisa Groberg, Melissa Lucas, Natasha Garza, Monica Loeza, , Christopher Chu, Robert Lorne, Adrian Alcocer, Zenon Banda, Gabby Banda, Jacob Infante, Isaiah Infante and Amauri Pierce.

Pete’s first love was the Lord; his second love was his wife Linda and then came his love for his immense blended family. Pete enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and his son around the pool and camping with his wife.

Special times for Pete were showing his 1965 GTO, talking politics with the guys from the 4-J coffee shop in the mornings (don’t get him started) and riding his Harley with his wife. Anyone who really knew Pete knows of his huge generous heart for helping people and trying to fix their problems. Pete is the owner of Pete’s Foundation Repair and is well known for his honesty, integrity and quality workmanship.

Funeral services for Pete will be held, Thursday September 9, 2021, at Fountain of Life Church, where he is a member. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 1277 Jubilee Drive, Saraland AL.
