Our precious and beloved mother, Mary Nell Howell, a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL, now residing in Mobile, AL, passed away at the age of 88 on December 31, 2016. She was a long time member of Central Church of Christ, in Saraland, AL and was retired from Mobile County School Board. She is survived by Betty McCranie, daughter, Mobile, AL; Myra Avera, daughter, Creola, AL; Connie Watson, daughter, (Allan) Semmes, AL; Leah Evans, granddaughter, (Michael) Chickasaw, AL; Doris Cowart, sister, Temple, TX; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
