Lola Mae Franklin Moore Baxter, 95, passed away November 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her own home in Spanish Fort, Alabama. She was born July 19, 1927, in Brewton, Alabama to the late Willie Daniel and Lillie Cooper Franklin.
Her family was always her main topic of concern. Lola was a very giving person her entire ninety-five years of life. She thrived on being a homemaker for her family and could cook and bake like no other. Lola had sheer determination to never us a walker or wheelchair in her golden years and she didn't have to actually use one until the last three months. She will leave an everlasting hole in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Left to cherish Lola's beautiful memories will be her son, Roger D. Moore, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, three sisters: Dot Mock, Pearline O'Hara, Jean Kendall all of Pensacola, Florida, along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, two spouses: Alfred P. Moore, Thomas H. Baxter, and a daughter, Sharon D. Moore in July of 2012.
A graveside service for Lola will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM on the grounds of Wallace Methodist Church Cemetery, 2470 Wallace Road, Brewton, Alabama.
