Linda Ann Barnes

Linda Ann Barnes- age 55, born in Chelsea, MA and a lifelong resident of Bay Minette passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015. She enjoyed biking, baking, and babies. Mrs. Barnes was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette.

Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her mother, Cecile M. Manning. Mrs. Barnes’ husband of 31 years, Rankin Barnes, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, July 28. She is survived by her children, Brandy Barnes Smith (Sandy) and Justin Blaine Barnes; grandchildren, Leighla Marie Kirchharr, Nellie Anne Smith, Elijah Paul Smith; father, James J. Manning, Jr.; brothers, James J. “Jimmy” Manning, III, Thomas Guerin, Jr. (Yvonne), and Mark Manning; and sister, Sharon Lefeve (Ray); other relative and friends and her beloved dog, “Harley.”

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 31, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
