Kenneth Wayne Malone - It Is with great sadness that I announce the death of my father, Kenneth Wayne Malone. He was born July 24,1956. Kenny passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on the morning of January 19, 2024. He was a fixture in our community and will be remembered and missed by many.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Cedric Lonnie Malone, Sr.; mother, Rebecca G. Williams Malone. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Eryn Shull and JT Baxter; grandchildren, Ethan Shull, Alan Mason, Brandon Mason, Judson Bonilla, Asa Baxter, Merideth Bonilla, and Lilith Mason; brother, Cedric L “Buddy” Malone, Jr. (Sharon); nieces and nephews, Amanda Brinson (Jamie), Andrew Malone (Kristy), Daniel Malone (Haley), and many beloved friends.
Kenny was a Retired Member of the Ironworkers Local 798 where he was a member for 47 years. His love of team roping and hunting are well known to all. His honest straight forward manner guided his relationships with friends and family. Those memories made with him will live on in the hearts of many and he will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 1 p.m. from Wilmer Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Gulfcrest Cemetery.
