Johnny Harold Wilson entered his heavenly home Monday, November 13, 2023, at 12:40 p.m. surrounded by his family. After serving in the US Navy, Johnny met and married Karen Wilson on August 10, 1985. He enthusiastically welcomed his new sons. Just a big kid at heart, he took on the responsibility of teaching these boys to be men and follow Christ. Known as Santa because of his jolly personality and physical likeness, he served his community many Christmas seasons entertaining family and neighborhood children.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, James Orville and Dorothy Barnett Wilson. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 38 years, Karen Lynn Wilson, and his three sons, John White (Jennifer), Jeremy Brewster, and Nicholas Couch-Wilson. The light of his eyes were his grandchildren,
Ashley, Aaron and Jonathan White, Nicholas, Jordyn, and Ty Wilson, and Trent, Cade and Dane McEwan.
He is also survived by his sister, Janice Robbins (Jimmy); step-sister, Shawne Jean; and step-brother, Gene McClellan. Johnny had a deep relationship with Karen’s siblings like they were his own: Paul Wilson (Brenda), Curtis Wilson, Bryan Wilson (Laurie) & Cyndi Older. He will be missed by many nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.
