Jewell Irene (Etheridge) Perry

Jewell Irene Etheridge Perry a native of Nicholsville, Alabama and a resident of Saraland, Alabama has slipped away from us in this world and joined her husband George. Jewell was full of life, love, and happiness through her last day making those around her better for having spent time in her presence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Perry; son, Larry Perry; grandson, Dana Perry; sister, Judith Nelson; brother, Julian Etheredge, Sr.; and parents, Ellis and Alberta Etheredge. Jewell is survived by her four children; Georgia Morrison, Linda Boyles, Trisha Briley, and Wayne Perry; along with eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly. In addition, the family would like to include the three “sisters through love” Linda Jackson, Carol West, and Matilda (Mattie) Baker whose tireless efforts over the past several years allowed Jewell to live her life out with dignity in her own home, “sleeping in her own bed”, as she would tell you.
