Jerry Daniel “Cotton” Janes – age 55, a native of Mobile, AL and resident of Wilmer, AL died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Herman Janes; and sister, Alice O. Harden. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Johnson Janes; two children, Jonathan and Kristin Janes; mother, Addell Janes; three brothers, Homer, Bobby and Gary Janes; one granddaughter, Cheyenne Ellison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
