James Lowell Jarrell – 78 year-old native of West Point, Georgia and longtime resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from International Paper Company after 35 years of service.
Mr. Jarrell was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Mae Widner. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda Jarrell; son, David Lowell Jarrell (Marci); grandsons, Wesley Lowell Jarrell and Matthew Davis Jarrell; other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Lea Ruffer with SouthernCare Hospice for all of her care and support.
Graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland from 9 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Home of Grace for Women, 394 Aldock Rd., Eight Mile, AL 36613, or to your charity of choice.
