Mr. James Richard Coley, Jr., age 60, native of Mobile, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, James Richard Coley, brother, Michael Wayne Coley and grandparents; Rufus and Nellie Smith and Rufus and Gertrude Coley. Mr. Coley served his country honorably in the United States Air Force serving 21 years. He served in many theatres including Desert Storm during his career. He was an avid Alabama football fan. Mr. Coley is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doreen Chunn Coley, mother, Dorothy June Coley and brother, Shannon Clark Coley. He is also survived many nieces, nephews and other family , friends and his loyal pal, Dixie. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Saraland, on Thursday, October 5 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.
