Irma Furr Wilson

Mrs. Irma Furr Wilson, age 101, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 26, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Wilson, sons; Francis, Ollie, Rusty, Woody Wilson, parents, Jackson L. and Minnie Booth Furr and loving and dedicated mother-in-law, Minnie Wilson. Mrs. Wilson retired after 10 years of service with Ingalls Shipyard as a welder. She was a longtime member of Hwy. 45 Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and time spent with her family. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her children; Barbara Ann Roberts, John Curtis Wilson (Betty), Sylvia Stewart (David), Jerry York, Douglas Wilson (Jeanette) and Michael Wilson (Nona). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
